Tishk International University visits Jordan University of Science and Technology

A senior delegation (Dr. Abdul Samad Salahuddin Ahmad, the president of TIU and Dr. Jaafer Hussein, the Director of International Relations) from Tishk International University visited Jordan from October 24th to 28th, 2022. The delegation participated in “1st Int. Conf. for Science and Pharmacy”  held at Mu’tah University on October 26 – 28th, 2022. Meanwhile, with the aim of strengthening the academic and scientific ties, the delegation visited Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) on October 25th 2022 in the morning. Mawlid Al Nabi Event As all are aware, we are currently in the holy month of Mawlid, the month in which the Islamic Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) was born. Muslims from all around the world celebrate the birth of the Prophet Mohammed, who came to humanity as a guide and leader. Kurdish people observe this occasion by decorating their homes and bazaars and exchanging sweets and desserts. Publishing a Patent in Recent Patents in Nanotechnology by a TIU Academic Staff Member Recently, a group of researchers led by Associated Professor Dr Azeez Abdullah Barzinjy from the Physics Education Department, Faculty of Education, Tishk International University Prof Dr Samir Mustafa Hamad and Vinos Mushir Faris published a patent in Recent Patents in Nanotechnology. Recent Patents in Nanotechnology publishes full-length research articles that reflect or deal with studies concerning a patent. Astronomy Club Third Outdoor Activity (Solar Eclipse) The Astronomy Club at the Department of Physics Education, Faculty of Education at Tishk International University will hold the third outdoor activity to observe the Solar Eclipse on October 25th, 2022. According to NASA, a Solar Eclipse will occur on Tuesday at 2:00 PM. We will observe this astronomical event by using a refractor telescope. We would like to invite you all to watch this natural phenomenon and spend some informative time with the Physics Education Department.
