International Conference on Legal Issues ILIC2022

In cooperation with the Faculty of Law and Political Science at the University of Kirkuk, the Faculty of Law at Tishk International University held the Seventh International Conference on Legal Issues ILIC2022 on December 22nd, 2022. The number of papers participating in the conference reached 47 papers in the fields of law, political science, and Islamic studies from the universities of the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, Morocco, Algeria, Malaysia, Egypt, and Palestine.

It is worth noting that the opening ceremony of the conference took place at Dedeman Hotel in Erbil, in which speeches were presented by:

1. M. Dr. Idris Hadi: Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Tishk International University.
2. M. Dr. Hussein Al-Balisani: Dean of the Faculty of Law at Tishk International University.
3. Dr. Salwa Ahmed: Representative of the Faculty of Law and Political Science at Kirkuk University.

The opening ceremony also included the participation of two-keynote speakers: Judge Muhammad Mustafa, Deputy President of the Judicial Council in the Kurdistan Region, and Ms. Ibtisam Sanhouri, UNDP Expert.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Governor of Erbil, researchers participating at the conference, teaching and administrative staff of the Faculty of Law at Tishk International University and several guests with media coverage of this academic event.

After the opening ceremony, the researchers presented their research to the attendees and conference participants.
