International Women’s Day

On March 8th, Tishk International University (TIU) celebrated International Women’s Day with a special event organized by the Dean of Students Department. The event was held in conjunction with the university’s annual Spring Festival Day.

The celebration aimed to recognize and commemorate the achievements of women in various fields, to promote gender equality and women’s empowerment. It was attended by students, faculty, and staff, who came together to honour women’s contributions and celebrate their achievements. There was also a cultural exhibition where attendees could learn about the contributions of women to Kurdish culture and history.
