On Sunday, July 16th, 2023, a delegation of staff from Malaysian Universities visited Tishk International University (TIU). The Delegation was welcomed by Ass. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir, the Acting President and the Academic Vice President of TIU, Dr. Tola FARAJ, the Head of the Medical Analysis Department and the International Relations Office Representative at the Faculty of Applied Science, and Dr. Safwan M. Hussein, the Vice Dean at the Faculty of Engineering.
The delegation members represented different universities, and included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdul Aziz Bin Mat, Deputy Vice-Chancellor at UTN, Dr. Raheem Ajeel, Senior Lecturer at UKM, Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Bashar Mohammed Deputy Chair/Faculty of Engineering at UTP, Mr. Tajul Ariffin Bin Shamsuddin, Registry Head of Admission, Record, and Marketing at UTP, Mr. Norman Zainal Abidin, Senior Regional Manager, MENA at Education Malaysia Global Services, and Ms. Noor Azlina Senior Regional Executive, MENA at Education Malaysia Global Services.
Throughout the visit, both Tishk International University and Malaysia’s Universities delegation discussed possible future collaborations between the institutions, including joint projects, staff and student exchange programs, scientific activities, and better-quality education and academic excellence.
