Pharmacist Professional Development Program
In collaboration with Orenda Pharmaceuticals, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a 12-week Training Course on Pharmacist Professional Development. The program initiated on November 9th, 2023, with two sessions to be held once every week till February, 14th, 2024. Each weeks’ program includes two sessions.
In the first session, Dr. Sazan, the Scientific Coordinator of Orenda Pharmaceuticals, gave an overview of the training, and Dr. Abdulsamad, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, gave a welcoming speech and talked about the importance of this training to all pharmacy graduates and academics. Dr. Rawaz Dlzar, CEO of Orenda Pharmaceuticals, shared insights on nurturing the mind, body, and soul, highlighting the importance of knowledge as brain food through reading. The second session featured Dr. Youns Sadiq, who discussed the difference between hospital and community pharmacies.
The program will cover different pharmaceutical topics and titles featured by different speakers ranging from Nutrition, Herbal Medicine, Public Health, AI in Pharmacy, to Oncology, and more. It’s an exciting and enriching program designed to help pharmacists grow and excel in their profession.
