On September, 2017, more than 300 Global Engineering Deans Council (GEDC)’s members have voted for GEDC’s next Secretary/Treasurer and GEDC Executive Committee.
Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş Director of IRO in Tishk International University has been elected as GEDC’s next Secretary/Treasurer for 2017 – 2018 year. The elected leaders assumed their position on October 12, 2017, in the International conference of GEDC2017 Niagara Falls, Canada which is hosted by McMaster University
Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş, has been granted as Featured Dean GEDC leadership in January 2017 . Tishk International University is an active member of the GEDC since 2012.
GEDC is a world-wide forum of President and Engineering Deans, over 350 leaders of engineering education institutions and corporate partners. The Global Engineering Deans Council (GEDC) was created on 9 May 2008 in Paris.
