2nd Student Graduation Project Competition

Erbil, Kurdistan Region-Iraq, June 02 & 03, 2026

This competition aims to offer a platform for senior undergraduate students (in their 4th and 5th years) to present their graduation projects, engage in a poster competition, and develop their academic and professional competencies. It also seeks to promote collaboration, creativity, and the exchange of knowledge among students, faculty members, and industry experts.

Event Stages

Stage 1: Department-Level Nomination

Each academic department is required to select the top two graduation projects. All senior students (4th and 5th year) are invited and strongly encouraged to participate.

  • To be eligible, projects must be under the theme: “Impact of Technological Development in Education and Training”.
  • If the project meets the above criteria, please complete the registration form using the link provided. (will be sent to you very shortly). It is up to you to fill in the online registration form by yourself or to ask the students to fill out it.
  • Only top two projects shall be selected, nominated, and registered to participate in the university-wide Graduation Project Competition.

Stage 2: Student Graduation Project Conference

The university will host the The 2nd Student Graduation Project Competition, where the nominated two projects from each department will be presented by the students.

  • All projects will be evaluated by the Evaluation Panel of the The 2nd Student Graduation Project Competition.
  • The two highest-scoring projects at the 2nd Student Graduation Project Competition level will be selected as the Best Graduation Projects of the Year.
  • Participation and attendance certificates will be awarded to all students who present at the conference.

Stage 3: Arabic Forum Nomination

The top two projects selected at The 2nd Student Graduation Project Competition will be officially nominated to represent our university at the Arabic Forum for Graduation Projects which will be held in November 2026 at Al-Zaytona University.

  • Competition Registration: Opens on 30 April – Closes on 15 May 2026
