Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski (Bulgaria) Visits Tishk International University
Sofia University, represented by Dr. Todor Yalamov, Vice- Dean Research and Innovation, Dr. Ivan Angelov, Lecturer of Management, Mr. Anastas Terzobaliev, CEO of MKRTNI Ltd. and Mr. Argatski visited Tishk International University and were welcomed by Dr. Idriss Hadi Salih, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Abdul Samad Salahuddin Ahmad, the President of TIU Dr. Osman Nuri Aras. Dean of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics, Dr. Wasfi Kahwachi, Director of Research Center and Dr. Jaafer Hussein, Director of International Relations Office on May 22nd, 2023, at 09:30 AM.
Sofia University, “St. Kliment Ohridski” at the University of Sofia, is the oldest higher education institution in Bulgaria. Founded on October 1st 1888, the university has 16 faculties and three departments, where over 21,000 students receive their education. It has been consistently ranked as the top university in Bulgaria according to national and international rankings, constantly among the best four percent of world universities according to QS World University Rankings.
With the aim of cooperation in education and research areas of mutual interest, and encouraging direct contact and cooperation between faculty members, departments, research institutions and students, the guest university brought an MoU signed by the President of Sofia University and in an official ceremony, signed by the President of TIU on May 22nd 2023.
During the meeting, the key officials at both universities present their universities, and the institutions’ significant achievements to each other. The mechanism of the MoU implementation and different areas of collaboration were also discussed.
