On December 29, 2024, Assistant Prof. Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, Head of the Board of Trustees at Tishk International University (TIU), and Prof. Dr. Sultan T. Abu-Orabi, President of TIU, undertook a strategic visit to Amman Arab University (AAU) in Amman, Jordan. They received a warm welcome from Professor Mohammad Al-Widyan, AAU’s President, and other key university officials.
Established in 1997, Amman Arab University is a distinguished private, non-profit institution with a strong focus on postgraduate studies. Notably, it was founded as Jordan’s first university dedicated exclusively to Master’s and Doctoral programs. AAU is renowned for producing highly qualified graduates, benefiting from a faculty of distinguished experts holding advanced degrees from top universities worldwide.
During the productive visit, representatives from both institutions engaged in discussions, exchanging valuable insights about their respective academic offerings. This was followed by a formal exchange of university logos, symbolizing the budding partnership. Recognizing the strong alignment of their faculties and academic visions, both TIU and AAU expressed mutual interest in formalizing their collaboration through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This significant agreement is anticipated to be signed in April and will pave the way for joint academic projects and initiatives in the near future.
