The Closing Ceremony of a Training Course for Engineers At Duhok City
In the presence of the Minister of Construction and Housing Mr. Dana Abdulkarim, President of Tishk International University (TIU), Dr. Abdulsamad Salahuddin, the Representative of President of Erbil Polytechnic University, Assit. Prof. Dr. Botan Asinger, Deputy Governor of Duhok, Mr. Madid Salih and many government officials, the closing ceremony of the training course for engineers at the General Directory of Roads and Bridges Construction and Housing/Duhok, was held on May 31st, 2023.
Dr. Abdulsamad Salahaddin delivered a commendation speech, extending his congratulations to the supervisors and participants of the course. He emphasized the commitment of TIU to collaborate and support government institutions in enhancing the knowledge and skills of local employees, thereby contributing to the development of Kurdistan.
During the ceremony, the Minister of Construction and Housing expressed his satisfaction in inaugurating such valuable courses. He acknowledged the efforts of the GSRB training course supervisors and emphasized the need for increased coordination and cooperation between the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Kurdistan universities. The minister highlighted the crucial role of universities in providing technical assistance to engineers overseeing projects within the region.
The training course, titled: The General Specification of Roads and Bridges, spanned four months under the supervision of professors and lecturers from both Tishk International University and Erbil Polytechnic University. Ten esteemed instructors from these institutions imparted their expertise to a group of forty engineers. To mark the successful completion of the course, graduation certificates were presented to the engineers, while certificates of honor were bestowed upon the instructors, recognizing their valuable contributions.
