TIU and Misan University Sign Memorandum of Understanding

In a significant step toward enhancing academic collaboration, Tishk International University (TIU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with University of Misan. This partnership aims to foster cooperation in various fields of education and research, benefiting students and faculty from both institutions.

The delegation from the University of Misan included Dr. Adel Manea Dakhel, President; Dr. Rashid Rahim, Dean of the College of Nursing; Dr. Muntadhar Hanoun Dawood, Dean of the College of Pharmacy; Dr. Muhammed Younis Al-Yasiri, Dean of the College of Political Science; and Dr. Mustafa Nasser Manati, Director of the Department of Missions and Cultural Relations.

The esteemed guests were warmly welcomed at Tishk International University by Assist. Prof. Dr. Idris Hadi, Head of the Board of Trustees, along with Prof. Dr. Sultan AbuOrabi, President of the university. Other key university officials in attendance were Assist. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Assist. Prof. Dr. Jaafer Hussein, Director of the International Relations Office (IRO).

After the signing ceremony, the delegation embarked on a tour of Tishk International University’s dentistry and pharmacy faculties, gaining insights into the state-of-the-art facilities and academic programs offered by the university. The tour provided an opportunity to explore potential areas of collaboration, particularly in the fields of health sciences, further strengthening the academic partnership between the two institutions.

The MoU is expected to pave the way for collaborative research, academic exchanges, and joint projects, deepening the ties between the academic communities of Tishk International University and the University of Misan.
