Erbil, January 29, 2025 – Tishk International University (TIU) recently welcomed representatives from the French Consulate. Discussions focused on potential academic and cultural partnerships.

The talks centered on several key areas. These included student exchange programs, language learning initiatives, and cultural events. All these efforts aim to foster stronger ties between TIU and French institutions. A significant topic was the introduction of Digital November. This festival showcases advancements in digital culture, including virtual reality, digital art, and video games.

The meeting also explored establishing a French Language Club. This club would support language learning among both students and faculty. Additionally, a workshop will be organized. Its purpose is to highlight the contributions of Daniel Metram.

To further strengthen cooperation, TIU President Prof. Dr. Sultan T. Abu-Orabi is scheduled to visit the French Consulate soon. Both sides expressed enthusiasm for expanding collaboration in education and cultural exchange.
