Tishk International University Hosts Two-Day Iftar at Hiror Restaurant
During this holy month of Ramadan, Tishk International University held a two-day iftar event at Hiror Restaurant for all academic and administrative staff. The event was attended by university staff from various departments and offices who gathered together to break their fast and enjoy a communal meal.
The iftar began with the traditional call to prayer, followed by a short speech by the Head of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Idris Hadi. In his speech, Dr. Hadi welcomed the staff and thanked them for their hard work and dedication to the university. “I want to thank all of our staff for their tireless efforts towards Tishk International University and their contributions to making it a great institution,” Dr. Hadi said. “We are grateful for your hard work, and we hope this iftar event will help bring us closer together as a community.” The two-day event was organized by the university’s social committee, which is dedicated to promoting social events and activities among the university community.
The iftar was a delicious spread of traditional Ramadan dishes, including dates, lentil soup, chicken biryani, and baklava.
