Tishk International University Holds its 13th Graduation Ceremony

The 13th Graduation Ceremony of Tishk International University (TIU), organized by the Dean of Students, took place on September 23rd, 2024. This special event celebrated the academic achievements of the Class of 2024, with over 995 undergraduate students from eight different faculties, including Dentistry, Engineering, Law, the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics (FASE), Education, Science, Pharmacy, and Nursing, receiving their degrees.

The ceremony began with a recitation of the Holy Quran by Mr. Ahmad Ari, a senior student from the Physics Department, followed by the national anthem. The university’s president, Professor Dr. Sultan T. Abu Orabi, warmly welcomed all the distinguished guests. Representing the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Ibrahim Haji Rashid, General Director of Private Institutes, addressed the audience, sharing his joy for the students’ accomplishments and offering his best wishes for their futures. Dr. Idris Hadi, Head of the Board of Trustees of TIU, also gave a notable speech, thanking the university’s trustees, guests, faculty, and graduates for attending the event and honouring their collective success. Mr. Rawand, who achieved the highest GPA at the university, represented the senior students and gave a powerful speech.

After the formal opening, the ceremony continued with the recognition of the top students from each department, who were presented with plaques of appreciation for their academic excellence. The ceremony then moved to the conferring of graduation certificates, where each graduate was individually called to the stage to receive their degree.

We extend our sincerest congratulations to all the graduates, acknowledging that their educational milestones hold significance not only for themselves but for the entire region and beyond. Their success is a source of great pride for TIU, and we thank the faculty and university staff for their dedication and support in guiding the students toward their goals. To the graduates, we recognize the support you’ve received along your journey, and we are grateful to the parents, families, faculty, and friends for their encouragement and sacrifices in helping you reach this point. We wish all graduates success in their future endeavours and look forward to celebrating further achievements in the years to come. A special thanks goes to everyone who contributed to the success of this event, particularly the organizing committee, members, and volunteers who worked tirelessly to make it a memorable occasion.
