Tishk International University (TIU) and Hawler Medical University (HMU) have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This agreement aims to enhance the quality of higher education. It represents a significant step towards fostering academic excellence and innovation through collaborative efforts.

The signing ceremony took place at Hawler Medical University. Distinguished leaders from both institutions were present. From TIU, Asst. Prof. Dr. Idress Hadi, Head of the Board of Trustees, and Prof. Dr. Sultan Abu-Orabi, President, attended. From HMU, Prof. Dr. Nooraddin Ismail Alla Werdi, President, was present. Key academic leadership also participated, including Vice Presidents for Academic Affairs Asst. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Özdemir (TIU) and Prof. Dr. Zhian Mahmoud Dezayee (HMU). Additionally, HMU’s Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hawri M. Baker, and Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Karwan M. Amin, joined the event, along with deans from various faculties.

This strategic partnership will improve higher education quality. It specifically involves launching joint Master’s programs across several health-related fields. These programs will be offered under TIU’s Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Nursing, and the Faculty of Applied Science.
