TIU-Career Development Center/DOS and ECNAS Youth Host Culture and Entrepreneurship Forum

In collaboration with ECNAS Youth Agency, the Career Development Centre, Dean of Students at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a Culture and Entrepreneurship Forum, attracting approximately 150 participants, including startup entrepreneurs, employees, and students from TIU. The event commenced with an inaugural ceremony graced by the presence of Asst. Prof. Dr. Idris Hadi, the Head of the Board of Trustees, and Professor Dr. Sultan Abu Orabi. Dr. Idris delivered a powerful speech highlighting the significance of culture in the progress of society.

The forum’s agenda included a variety of perceptive sessions. The programme began with a welcoming address by TIU personnel, followed by an introduction to ECNAS Youth Agency and its range of services. Peshawa Ahmed explored the significance of technology in the advancement and enrichment of culture, while Lawyer Pshtiwan Aziz offered legal perspectives on the position of employees in institutions within the context of labour law.

Following a break for coffee, participants were treated to a musical performance before engaging in a session led by Mohammed Fatih. The session focused on the important role of content creators in promoting Kurdish culture. The forum proceeded with a panel discussion focused on fostering Kurdish culture and creating Kurdish content through entrepreneurial activities and business ventures. This engaged participants in a significant conversation about cultural entrepreneurship.

Following a coffee break, ECNAS Staff made an announcement regarding an initiative focused on society and culture, demonstrating their dedication to making significant contributions to society. Biyar Hussain concluded the event by discussing the efficacy of comedy in promoting culture and its impact on altering people’s behaviour.

The collaborative event showcased the harmonious relationship between culture and entrepreneurship, promoting dynamic conversations and networking prospects. The Culture and Entrepreneurship Forum serves as a demonstration of the efficacy of collaboration in fostering cultural and entrepreneurial development within the community.
