TIU Hosts Key Meeting with Erbil Polytechnic University to Finalize IEC 2024 Conference

Tishk International University (TIU) hosted an important meeting with Erbil Polytechnic University (EPU) to finalize plans for the upcoming International Engineering Conference (IEC2024). The meeting was led by the presidents of both universities, Prof. Dr. Sultan Aboaurabi from TIU and Prof. Dr. Idris Harki from EPU, alongside other distinguished officials.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir, Vice President of Academic Affairs at TIU, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Botan Majeed, Vice President of Academic Affairs at EPU, were key participants in the discussions. Joining them was Dr. Jwan Jalal, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at TIU, as well as several other committee members from both universities. The focus of the meeting was to finalize the organizational details and academic program for IEC2024, which will take place on October 23-24, 2024, in Erbil-Iraq. Both universities are working closely to ensure that the conference will provide a platform for sharing significant advancements in engineering and technology. The meeting marked a pivotal step in solidifying plans for what is expected to be a major academic event.
