Tishk International University (TIU) has once again shown its academic and digital excellence by ranking 1st among all universities in the Kurdistan Region in the July 2025 edition of the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities. This marks the university’s continued leadership as the top private university in the region since 2019.
On a national level, TIU achieved a historic milestone by rising to 6th place among all universities in Iraq, its highest position to date. The university also showed impressive progress on a global scale, advancing to 2,627th place. This is a notable improvement from its 3,048th position in January 2025.
This consistent upward trend reflects TIU’s strong commitment to digital transformation, high-quality academic publishing, and robust international collaboration.
