Tree Planting Project
In cooperation with the Directorate of Gardens and Parks Engineering, Tishk International University organized a tree planting event as part of the ongoing Tree Planting Project. The event was arranged on March 14th, 2023, and aimed to enhance the visual and aesthetic qualities of the region by developing more green zones, attracting visitors, and raising awareness of the importance of tree planting. The project was also a great opportunity for TIU students to engage in social community events and contribute to a environmental sustainability.
The target of the project was to plant trees in as many different areas as possible, and on the day of the event, 200 trees were successfully planted in the TIU campus with the cooperation of staff and students from all the university’s faculties and departments.
