Tishk International University Continuing Education Center’s teachers organized a Turkish Language Training Course for the administrative staff of Erbil Polytechnic University. The course started at 20 June and ended at 17 August, 2016. 12 administrative staffs including Polytechnic University President Dr. Kawa Sherwani attended the Turkish course which took place for two months and 50 hours.
By the ending of Turkish course a certificate ceremony was organized and course attendees got their certificates from Tishk International University Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş, Vice President Dr. Mehmet Özdemir, Vice President Mr. Umit Aruzery and Continuing Education Center Director Hasan Gürbüz.
At the certificate ceremony Polytechnic University President Dr. Kawa did his speech in Turkish and thanked to Tishk International University President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş and course teachers for their contributions. Dr. Kawa gave an appreciation to Tishk International University. Tishk International University President Öztaş also made a speech and tried to speak in Kurdish. President Öztaş insisted on importance of collaboration of both Universities.
