Angus McKee, British Consul General to the Kurdistan Region and Northern Iraq, visited Tishk International university on Thursday, March 31, 2016. The guest was welcomed by Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş, President of Tishk International University, Mr. Umed Aruzery, Vice President, Dr. Suleyman Celik, Dean of Education Faculty, Mr. Fatih Cura, Dean of Faculty of Economics, Mr. Mehmet Atik, Prep School Instructor and from Fezalar Educational Institutions Mr. Ali Bala, Head of English Summit.
During the visit, President Öztaş gave general information about the university and the successes of the university, adding that Tishk International University has applied for several programs in the U.K and when the procedures are completed, the delegation will come to Erbil for the further steps and to sign agreement.
Mr. McKee said that he is not only visiting a local institution but he is also visiting foreign investors in Iraq as well and such agreements are very important for the development of the region so they, as consulate, will not refrain to support from Tishk International and other institutions with such intentions, to be able to contribute to the such benefits.
