🌍 TIU Promotes SDG 7 Through 8th Annual Clean and Love Kurdistan Campaign
On April 29–30, 2024, Tishk International University’s Business and Management Department organized the 8th Annual Clean and Love Kurdistan Campaign, supporting SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy.
In collaboration with the Ministry of Municipality and Erbil’s Environment Directorate, the initiative promoted environmental sustainability through cleanup efforts and tree planting.
Over 100 students and faculty participated, advocating for energy efficiency and sustainable practices. The event emphasized:

It concluded with a seminar on the role of sustainable energy in environmental conservation.
🌳 TIU Leads Tree Planting Initiative for a Greener Future
In alignment with SDG 15: Life on Land, Tishk International University collaborated with the Directorate of Gardens and Parks Engineering to launch a Tree Planting Project on March 14, 2023.
The initiative focused on:

Students and faculty planted 200 trees on campus, fostering community engagement and reaffirming their commitment to ecological preservation.
This project emphasizes the crucial role of education in protecting terrestrial ecosystems and combating climate change.
🧬 Medical Ethics Training Highlights SDG 15 through Ethical Practice
On September 24th, TIU’s Medical Analysis Department hosted a Medical Ethics Training Program, aligning with SDG 15 (Life on Land) by promoting ethical care that respects human well-being and biodiversity.
Led by Dr. Shaween Z. Jamil, the program consisted of six sessions on essential ethics topics, including:
