A delegation from Tishk International University (TIU) visited the Jordanians universities between December 15-17, 2019. In the second day of their meetings with they have visited the Yarmouk University. The aim of the visit was to sign memorandum of understanding (MoU) and to start a new scientific and academic relations with the Yarmouk University. The TIU delegation were warmly welcomed by the president of Yarmouk University, Dr. Zeidan Kafafi and they had a fruitful meeting and they have signed a mutual MoU. December 17th of each year is the Kurdistan Flag Day which was designated by the Kurdistan Region parliament in 2009. In this context Dean of Students of Tishk International University held a ceremony for commemorating this day. The main characteristic of the Kurdish flag is the blazing golden sun emblem (Roj in Kurdish) at its center. The emblem's sun disk has 21 rays, equal in size and shape, with the single odd ray at top and the two even rays on the bottom. A delegation of Tishk International University (TIU) consists of Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, President of TIU, and Dr. Sultan Ourabi, Member of board of trustees, visited Philadelphia University, Jordan on December 15, 2019. Dr. Idris Hadi and TIU team were warmly welcomed by Dr. Mutaz Sheikh Salem, President of the Philadelphia university. In a fruitful meeting between TIU & Philadelphia University presidency teams both sides were agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU). On December 12th, Mathematics Education Department staff including  head of the department and students from third & fourth stages went on a scientific trip to KOYA University. In the reception there was Dr. Abdulqadir head of Mathematics Department, Collage of Science and other staff and students also they showed a nice greeting and great hospitality. The trip went according to a schedule, firstly some visits were done to Mathematics Department’s heads in their offices. Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, President of Tishk International University (TIU), visited the Jordan University of science and technology in Jordan on December 16-17, 2019. The TIU delegation were welcomed by the president of Jordan University Dr. Saib Abdul Halim Xresat, Vice Presidents, Director of IRO Office and the dean of Dentistry Faculty. The aim of the visit was to start a new academic collaborations and to sign memorandum of understanding with the Jordan University of science and technology. As a tradition of the department, every year a group of students from the International Relations and Diplomacy department pay a field visit to the Kurdistan parliament. On December 11th. 2019, accompanied by the head of department and a number of staff from the department first and second year students visited Parliament.
