Tishk International University has been conducting a project which is focused on Religious and Cultural Diversity in Kurdistan and supported by German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in collaboration with Potsdam University from Germany, Salahaddin University and Catholic University for two years. Within the scope of the ongoing project, three delegations from three universities consisted of ten academic staff and sixteen students attended a summer school in Potsdam between June 28 and July 12 for fifteen days. Twenty five years ago, an International Conference on Population & Development, ICPD held in Cairo, Egypt, with the participation of 179 world leaders aimed to help women, impower and promote their access to a better reproductive health services. On July 15th and 16th, 2019, Tishk International University participated in Rwanga Foras Job Fair 2019 at Sami Abulrahman Park, Erbil/KRG.  This international job fair was held to bring potential job opportunities for young people and students in Kurdistan region and to become a platform that would provide 24/7 learning for skills and certification through various online trainings along with direct training on employable skills . Dr. Hans J. Hoyer, the General secretory of the International Federation for Engineering Education Societies (IFEES) & Executive Secretary of the Global Engineering Deans Council (GEDC), Joined the Board of Trustees of TTishk International International University.  This came after his visit to the University campus where he was warmly welcomed by Dr. Idris Hadi Saleh, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees and the acting of President of the University. Civil engineering department of Tishk International University (TIU) with support of ACI Iraq chapter applied for getting approval to form TIU student chapter. The letter of approval was replied from ACI by 26th June 2019. It was the first time that one of the Iraqi universities can form ACI student chapter. The chapter is officially named as Tishk International University ACI student chapter. TIU ACI student chapter will be a platform to gather students of civil engineering from Iraqi Universities and makes them to have more interest on concrete through organizing concrete competitions.
