Tishk Career Center organized the 6th Career Days on May 15th, 2019. The event was held with the participation of 27 companies, NGOs, Banks and Private Schools. The event sponsored by Hawkary Group, Byblos Bank and Khoshnaw Group. The event started at 10:00 a.m. and finished at 4 p.m. Most of the senior students visited all the booths to submit their CVs to the companies to get a chance to work with them. The companies introduced their vacancy opportunities for students with their requirement that they need. In a field-trip to Qushtapa Refugee camp near Erbil, second-year students from the International Relations and Diplomacy department at Tishk International University met with the camp management and toured through the camp where Syrian refugees are settled. The visit took place on May 12, 2019، were second-year students accompanied by staff from the department visited the camp and observed the humanitarian circumstances of the refugees settled at the camp. Tishk International University hosted a committee from Sulaimany University consists of Asst. Prof. Dr. Sozan Abdulla head of committee, Dr.Mustafa Ibrahim , Ms. Aysar Abdulxalq and Dr.najmadin wahid members of committee on May 01, 2019. The aim of the visit was to evaluate the opening of new department of Computer Education Department. Dean of Students of Tishk International University organized a chess tournament for students on April 4th, 2019. The tournament was continued until April 8, 2019. 29 players participated in the tournament. The tournament was designed in 7 rounds and each player had 7 matches. The tournaments result was as follows: Eman Adnan got the first place, Harem Hussain was second. Congratulations to the winners of the Chess Tournament 2019.

Table Tennis Tournament for all students organized by Student Deanery on April 15, 2019, and the final match was on May 02, 2019. The Tournament continued for more than two weeks, and 60 players participated. The tournament was knock out system; the player will leave the competition with a single loss. In the final match, Goran Rasul Khdr from Civil Engineering Department and Abdulqadir Fidaaldeen Muhammed from the Civil Engineering Department. After performing a beautiful game from both sides, Goran won the title by winning the three rounds (3-2). According to the signed MoU with Palacký University in the Czech Republic on June last year, Prof. Dr.Ahmet Oztas ( Director of International University ) visited Palacký University on 30 April 2019, He welcomed by The International Relation Officer Petra Nakladalova and The Statutary Representative of the dean Vice- Dean for study, Social and Pedagogical Matters Zdenka Miksova.
