Tishk International University held the 5th National Innovations Competition in Engineering (NICE2019) on May 05, 2019, under the theme of “Targeting Smart Sustainable Innovations.” Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, Head of Board of Trustees and President of Tishk International University, Deans, and Heads of Departments of the universities that participated honored the Hosts with their presence. Mechatronics Engineering Department under the Faculty of Engineering organized a National Workshop entitled of “MATLAB, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) & Solar Electric Vehicle” on 28th & 29th of April 2019. Mr. Ganesh Babu Loganathan, Head of Mechatronics Engineering, gave short-bio of Prof.  Dr. Ezideen hasso, Duhok Polytechnic University & Asst. Prof. Mr. N.S.Sivakumar  (TIU). Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics successfully completed 4th IBASSC (International Business Administrative Sciences Student Conference) on May 2nd, 2019. The conference started at 10:00 AM with a welcome speech by Mr. Karwan Talaat, the research assistant of Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics. as the Conference Moderator. Accounting Department under the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics (FASE) organized a national workshop under the title of “Apply and Challenges of Accounting in Business” on 22nd of April 2019. On April 28, 2019 Biology Education Department has held an exhibition for the models and posters which have been prepared by biology 2nd-grade students. The prepared models along with their posters were the outcome of students’ learning in entomology course. This exhibition was a very good aid to help students for learning more and having fun with this course and biological topics. Moreover, it was an important factor to motivate the students toward science, contributes their social developments, and increases their skills of the presentation.
