The public diplomacy, Mr. Syamk burhani, visited Tishk University on Thursday March 10, 2019. He was warmly welcomed by his esteemed host, Chairman of the board of trustee (and acting president of Tishk International University) Dr.Idris Hadi. The international Women’s Day was celebrated at Tishk International University, where Dr. Idris Hadi Head of Board of Trustees and President of TIU gave an opening speech about Women’s day and history of March 8, followed by a speech presented by Ms. Soma Abdulsalam Kareem Director of Gender Equity Center at Tishk International University. 3rd National POP-conference (NPC-2019) was held on 2nd of March 2019 by Education Faculty of Tishk International University.   Faculty of Education organizes professional development (PD) series for pre-service teachers to increase students’ skills and to make them aware of professional teaching and learning. Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, Head of the Board of Trustees and Dr. Mehmet Özdemir, Vice president of Tishk International University and Dr. Suleyman Celik, Dean of Education faculty visited Mr.Ni Ruchi , Consulate General of China in Erbil, Iraq on March 07, 2019. It was planned to initiate collaboration between Tishk and various Chinese Universities to promote shared seminars, international conferences, student and staff exchange programs and information exchange. Mr. Ruchi promised to help Tishk students to get opportunities and scholarships to attain Master’s degrees at various Chinese Universities. The Department of Computer Engineering, with the support and cooperation of IT department and under the supervision of Mr. Safwan Mawlood, head of Computer Engineering department have organized a tree planting activity in Tishk International University’s campus on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, incorporating the theme: “Plant a tree, plant a life”. On February 27, 2019 an art exhibition was organized and presented by the teacher and students of drawing club. The Drawings were presented in the main entrance of the main building. The gallery contained more than 30 drawings that were organized chronologically. From the left side of the gallery were the basic drawings of the students from the early classes.
