On 3rd of March 2019, an Award Ceremony of ISO 9001:2015 Certificate was held at Tishk International University (TIU) with the presence of the University’s Vice Presidents and ISO-related staff. TIU has been certified to ISO 9001:2015 by Bureau Veritas Certification Holding SAS-UK Branch. The Certificate was accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Services Body (UKAS). By this certificate it has been attested that the Management System of TIU has been audited and found to be per the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 International Management System Standard. On February 27th, 2019, The Engineering Faculty in collaboration with Science faculty have organized a tremendous day event for poster presentation competition. The event included the presentation of tens of posters by first-grade students in different departments of engineering and science. The poster included the view of social and scientific perspectives of student research and data analysis for the Academic debate course. Students presented their work for the staff and students of Tishk International University (TIU) and some guests and visitors. first year students from the Department International Relations and Diplomacy of TIU visited the KRG Parliament On Wednesday, February 27th, 2019. The visit was led by Dr Hawraman Ali, one of the Department’s lecturers, and Ms Jikar Najmaldin. The purposes of the trip were for the students to see the inner workings of the Parliament, to acquire practical knowledge of how politics is conducted within the Parliament, and also how the Parliament deals with external actors. On February 14, 2019, Tishk International University received an appreciation letter from International Organization of Migration for contribution and supporting the ride on bike marathon. Faculty of Law at Tishk International University gained the accreditation certificate from the Association of Arab Universities for the program of Law faculty as a first faculty between all law faculties in Kurdistan and Iraq. On February 11, 2019, by the presence of the president of TIU, Dr. Idris Hadi Salih and dean of law faculty, Dr. Adnan Abdullah Rashid. The justice symbol statue at law faculty was opened in a ceremony by the participation of the academic staff of law faculties and students.
