Dr. Ibrahim al-Jaafari, ministry of foreign affairs in Iraq welcomed Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, Head of Board of Trustees of Tishk International University in Baghdad, Iraq on August 01, 2018. In a small meeting, the scientific affairs and education in Iraq and Kurdistan Region were the main topic of the meeting. Tishk International University hosted a committee from ministry of higher education and scientific research, KRG on July 30, 2018. The aim of the visit was to evaluate the opening of new department of Nursing. The head of committee was Asst. Prof. Dr. Yousif Muhammad Younis, accompanying with Asst. The lecturers from Faculty of Law at the Tishk International University conducting several seminars, attending international conferences, publishing researches in the global academic fields and journals as the conference addressed many of the most sensitive international topics in many scientific areas. Two lecturers from Tishk International university law department participated in an international conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on July 18-19, 2018. Tishk International University participated in an educational fair which was organized on the date July 21, 2018, in the Erbil International Hotel. The primary purpose of the fair was to help high school students to get detailed information about Tishk International university and its department quickly. Tishk International University has 21 departments which are accredited internationally.
