Dentistry Faculty is organizing an International Biology Olympiad practical part preparation camp for the Iraq Biology Olympiad team on the date of July 01- 12, 2018, upon the request of Ronaky Hawler Educational Company. The International Biology Olympiad (IBO) is a yearly Biology competition for secondary school students, who are winners of their respective National Biology Olympiad. Their skills in tackling biological problems, and dealing with biological experiments are tested. Dr. Idris Hadii Salih, Head of Board of Trustees and President of ISHIK University was invited as Chief Guest from Birla Vishwa Karma Engineering College, Ahmedabad, India to deliver speech on the women issues in Science, Technology and social issues. Tishk International University celebrated its 7th graduation which held at 8:00 PM on Monday, June, 25, 2018 in the campus of Tishk International University. The ceremony started with a moment of silence for the martyrs of Kurdistan and the national anthem. Then some verses of Quran – Karim has been read by Sheikh Jarjis Ibrahim. Since its establishment Tishk International University continuously keep developing and open new departments. After the approval of the ministry of higher education & scientific research, this year 2017 – 2018 faculty of pharmacy was opened. The department supplied and occupied with new classrooms, laboratories and new lab equipment and devices which are all new and brought from abroad. For this year 100 students were accepted in this department and the minimum degree of acceptance was 90. As a result of the evaluation conducted by the Experts Panel of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center of AArU (The Association of Arab Universities), the Law Bachelor Degree Program of Tishk International University has been accredited for five years without any condition.
