Highlights

ISHIK University and through the chairman of the board of trustee and the acting president Dr. Idris Hadi Salih has received an appreciation plaque from the Education and Community Health Organization ( ECHO ) presented by Dr. Karzan Mohammad the head of ECHO. This is with regard to the participation and cooperation of both parties in organizing the Youth Empowerment Symposium (YES) on April, 1st. 2018. The ECHO organization highly appreciated the endless support of ISHIK University toward the humanitarian efforts. Gratefulness message delivered to the president of ISHIK University as he was always supporting such activities.

On the date of 28th of May, 2018, Tishk International Career Development Center organized a seminar about UN Volunteers Applying. In the Beginning Mr. James A.C. Duku, UN Volunteers Program Coordinator presented a seminar about the UN, UN partners, and UN volunteers. He mentioned that the importance of UN organizations that they are serving in Iraq. After that Mr. Hunar, Program Assistant presented a session about how to apply for UN Volunteers; He briefly mentioned the specific steps for using online application. Table Tennis Tournament for all students organized by Student Deanery on May 10, 2018, and the final match was on May 29, 2018. The Tournament continued for more than two weeks, and 60 players participated. The tournament was knock out system; the player will leave the competition with a single loss. In the final match, Muhammed Haji from Tishk International University Staff and Hassan Mazin from Accounting Department. Haji Idris charity foundation sponsored and organized Iftar for Tishk International University students for 20 days each day 100 students in Abu Shahab City Restaurant. Dr.Idris Hadi Salih Head of Board of Trustees and President of Tishk International University Visited students and congratulate Ramadan to students and thanked students for participating and he  wished happy Ramazan to all, While the IFTAR Muhmad Luqman students in 3rd grade in the interior design department played Balaban music for students in accordance with his performance, Dr. Idris Hadi Salih invited Muhamad Luqman and gave a certificate of appreciation.

Faculty of Administrative Science and Economics of Tishk International University proudly organized the Third “Clean and Love Kurdistan campaign.” The campaign was on May 02, 2018. On May 27, 2018, Tishk International University and Erbil Municipality organized a seminar to create an awareness of keeping clean and protecting the environment with the sponsorship of Barzani Charity Foundation, representative of Barzani Charity Foundation Mr. Ravin Haje Sherwani received the appreciation plaque and plaque of Tishk International University from Dr. Idris Hadi Salih Head of Board of Trustees and President of Tishk International University. As a part of the continues development, Tishk International University is currently in the Preparation Phase for the International Accreditation Procedure of two Academic Bachelor Degrees Programs in Computer Engineering and Information Technology.
