Faculty of Law organized an honorary commemoration tribute for  Dr. Huseyin Chakillikoyak, on April 26, 2018, at the Faculty of Law, Tishk International University. Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, President, Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir, Academic Vice President, the academic staff of Tishk International University and students participated in the ceremony to show their respect for their friend, lecturer, and dean. Dr. Huseyin Chakillikoyak was served for years in Tishk International University as Dean of Law Faculty and Director of International Relation Office. In a field visit organized by the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy at Tishk International University, students and staff of the department visited the United Nations compound in Erbil. The visit took place on April 25, 2018, where a selected number of students were received by the United Nations Assistance Missions in Iraq (UNAMI) at their office in Erbil and attended a short workshop organized to introduce the student to the UNAMI in Iraq and the KRI. Tishk International University has held 3rd International Spring Festival of Language, Culture, and Science on April 25, 2018, with the participant of general consulates, representatives of the ministry of higher educations and all students of Tishk International University. The festival started at 10:00 AM, in the morning with the opening speech by Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, Head of Board of Trustees. A delegation from Tishk International University consisting of Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, Head of Board of Trustees and Mehmet Özdemir, Academic Vice President at Tishk International University visited Human Development University from Sulaimani on April 17, 2018. They were welcomed  warmly by Prof.Dr.Mariwan Ahmad Rashid President of University. The main agenda of the visiting was to discuss starting a new collaboration between both sides such as joint conferences, workshop, and seminars. The meeting was successful that both sides would start a new partnership with each other.  

Tishk International University has participated in the International Education Exhibition in Baghdad, Iraq, on March 30, 2018, which was organized by Dr. Ali Al Anbori, Director of International Consultants Company in Baghdad. The 10-day exhibition held at the Baghdad International Fair under the slogan of "We read to promote ourselves.” The representative of Tishk International University was Tiba Alani, Research Assistant in FASE and Zainab Alani Secretary of IRO office. 2nd NPC-2018 conference was held on 31th of March 2018 in education faculty of Tishk International University. Most of the universities around the World organize professional development programs for last grades students. Most of those significant programs are about workshops, seminars, conferences and courses. As Education Faculty, we decided that we can organize pop-conference for our last grade students on a day like an international conference.
