The Faculty of Education has successfully organized his 5th International Conference on Applied Science, Energy and Environment ICASEE-2018 in cooperation with the college of education of Salahaddin University. The conference is honored by the presence of official delegates of the Kurdistan Regional Government- KRG. The high delegates of both Ministries of Higher Education and Ministry of Agriculture. Tishk International University and Tishk International University Research Center in partnership and collaboration of ECHO organization has participated in organizing the Youth Empowerment Symposium. This is based on the latest research outcomes from researchers at Tishk International University Research Center particularly Dr. Karzan Mohammad who researched the role of depression in cancer provoking and progression. The symposium aimed to empower the youth through encouraging them and support them to use their potential in building their capacities and enlighten their future. A delegation of the committee of Education, Higher education, and Scientific Research from KRG Parliament members in cooperation with volunteer teachers from the English Language Teaching (ELT) department in the Faculty of Education at Tishk International University had a field trip to the Darashakran refugee camp. It is for three years that our volunteers are going to teach the English language in refugee camps, especially at Darashakran refugee camp. The graduation Photo Taking ceremony for this year 2017-2018 has been decided to be done in three days. Today April 09, 2018 the third part of the event has been done within the presence of lecturers, Administration Staff, and student’s families.
