Board of Trustees of Tishk International University held weekly scheduled meeting under the chairmanship of Dr. Idris Hadi Salih Head of the Board of Trustees, with the presence of all members on Tuesday , November 07, 2017. Many important points were discussed in this meeting and proper decisions were made for the benefit of Tishk International University students, and encouraging the development process of education.

On September, 2017, more than 300 Global Engineering Deans Council (GEDC)’s members have voted for GEDC's next Secretary/Treasurer and GEDC Executive Committee. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş Director of IRO in Tishk International University has been elected as GEDC's next Secretary/Treasurer for 2017 – 2018 year. Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, Head of Board of Trustees and President of Tishk International University visited three Universities in Germany (Technische Universität Bergakademie Freiberg, TU Dortmund University and Technische Universität Berlin) for collaboration, partnership and permitting their respective expertise to contribute in the teaching / training programs. On October 25th 2017 Student Deanery organized Clubs Introduction Day.The aim of the day was to introduce the clubs to represent their names for the students. All Tishk International students were invited to the event which lasted for 1 day in front of the Main Building. During the organization, the clubs found the opportunity to introduce themselves and to explain their future plans and activities as well as enrolling the students as volunteers for their club member list. Alumni Office of Tishk International University organized a “Leadership” workshop on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 for the Tishk International University alumni. This event is one of series of social and academic activities that Alumni Office arranges to encourage and empower Tishk International Alumni. The workshop was taught by Mrs. Marion Oudar, Academic Staff in Administrative Sciences and Economics Faculty in Tishk International University.
