A Welcome Ceremony was organized by the office of the Students Deanery on October 10, 2017. The event took place at the Tishk International University campus where the Tishk International University students were congratulated on the commencement of a new beginning of their academic life. The program consisted of a minute standing in silence respecting the souls of martyrs and offering condolences to the Tishk International Family on the passing of the Kurdish leader and Former President of Iraq, Mr. Jalal Talabani. At Dentistry Faculty of Tishk International University seminar was held by Dr. Idris Hadi Head of Board of Trustees and President of Tishk International University for lectures, particularly who are Arab citizenship holder on September 19th, 2017. He underlined the brotherhood between Arab and Kurd. He stated that Kurd and Arab will be good neighbor and have good relations even after referendum on independence. Fatih CURA, Dean of Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics successfully presented his paper in 77th The IRES International Conference held in New York, USA on 15-16th August 2017. Fatih CURA received Excellent Paper Award for his research. We would like to congratulate him and extend our well wishes for his contribution to our university.

Prof. Dr. Sultan Abu-Orabi Secretary General Association of Arab Universities (AArU) and Prof.Dr. Ziad D. Al-Kurdi President of Irbid National University with accompany of Dr. Ahmad Dizayi President of Salahadin University visited Tishk International University. Seminar on “Introduction to E-Learning and online University” was held by Dr. Qaisar Mahdi Head of It Service of Tishk International University on August 10th, 2017 for all Tishk International staff. The seminar was held in the presence of Dr. Idris Hadi Head of Board of Trustees and President and all staff for an effective learning system and developmental skills of each single member of Tishk International .
