President of Erbil Municipality Saman Mohammed Ahmed and other municipality officials visited Tishk International University. The guests were welcomed by Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş Tishk International President, and Fatih Cura Dean of Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics. Tishk International University Sulaimani with an overcrowded participants organized the 1st Tishk International Public Exhibition of Projects (IPEP) on May 28, 2016. There was a big interest in the program in which Dr. Haval Abubakir Provincial Council Chairman, Representatives of Ministers , Fezalar Educational Institutions, Vice Presidents, famous Kurdish singers, Deans of Colleges, Heads of Departments, Lecturers, families, students and academics were ready on the campus. First Tishk International Business and Administrative Sciences Student Conference (IBASSC 2016) was held at Tishk International University on June 1, 2016. Faculty of Administrative Science and Economics organized the 1st Tishk International Student Conference in co-operation with the students. The opening ceremony was performed on the campus by Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir Vice President, and Dean of the Faculty and Intellectuals and students  honored the Conference Hosts with their presence. Tishk International University president Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş paid a courtesy visit to Fachhochschule Potsdam University of Applied Sciences in Potsdam and met with dean of Institute for Building Research and Conservation Prof. Dr. Phys. Klaus Landwehrs, project manager Prof. Dr. Hermann Voesgen, and Prof. Dr. Ing. Michael Ortgiese.
