Tishk International University President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş paid a courtesy visit to Vrije Brussel University in Belgium and met the Rector Prof. Dr. Paul DE KNOP. In the meeting with the Rector, President Öztaş gave brief information about Tishk International University’s scientific and social activities and expressed his wish for the future collaborations with Vrije Brussel University.  After the meeting, Rector Torfs showed  President  Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş around the KU Leuven University. 7th International Visible Conference on Educational Studies & Applied Linguistics  (VESAL 2016) Was Held at Education Faculty of Tishk International University In Collaboration  with Salahaddin University. Education Faculty of Tishk International University & College of Education of Salahaddin University organized 7th INTERNATIONAL VISIBLE CONFERENCE ON EDUCATIONAL STUDIES & APPLIED LINGUISTICS. The program started with the Welcome Reception in Salahaddin University’s Culture Center the day before. On April 24th, Opening Ceremony was held at Tishk International University Campus. Representatives of the Government, Mr. Ali Hussein Head of KDP of Erbil Office, and Intellectuals honored the Conference Hosts with their participation. A delegate from General Directorate of Education paid a visit to our campus. The delegates were composed of Mr. Bashdar General Director of Education, and Mr. Hunar Director of Follow-up in General Directorate of Education.   The delegate was warmly welcomed by Dr. Mehmet  Özdemir Vice President, and Mr. Hasan Gürbüz Director of CEC. The aim of this visit was to follow the Teaching Training Course closely which is opened for the educators to improve their teaching skills.
