Tishk International University organized an "Anfal Ceremony" on the campus. Mr. Mahmud Haji Hamad Minister of Martyrs, the Representatives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Muhammed Sabir General Director of Study &  Planning and Dr. Jamal Kamal, Vice General Director of the Studies, Planning and Follow-up Department, Representatives of the Government and the Intellectuals honored the event hosts with their participation. Tishk International University offers a variety of teacher training courses to help the educators improve their teaching skills. Within this context, about 140 teachers registered for a 45-day program in which they will update their current knowledge and improve teaching skills on English, Mathematics and Science. This courses will be given by our professional trainers: Mr. Rawa the Instructor, Mr. Hemn the Instructor, and Miss. Dunya the Instructor. The course will open the horizons of the educators by helping them develop an excellent teaching experience. TISHK INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITYDr. Michael Mulnix the President of AUDK and Dr. Honar Issa Member of the Board of Trustees visited our campus. The delegation was welcomed by Tishk International University President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş and Mr. Fatih Cura the Dean of Economics Faculty. President Öztaş gave general information about the university. During the conversation taking place in a friendly atmopshere, the parties discussed the possible future collaboration between two universities. Third International Conference on Energy, Environment and Applied Sciences (ICEEAS 2016) was held at Tishk International University Campus, in collaboration with Salahaddin University. The Opening Ceremony at Tishk International University started with the National Anthem of Kurdistan and the inauguration speeches by Tishk International President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş and Vice President Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Hamarash on behalf the SUH President.
