Marwan Alkhalidy, one of the academics in the Faculty of Law who was awarded with the "Best Presentation Award" in the 18th International Conference on Law and Social Sciences in Miami/Florida, gave a seminar regarding the experience of an international student in the USA. Prep School staff and students had organized a cultural visit to Halabja. This was aimed to remember those who had fallen and become martyrs and to give the students the feeling of nationhood. The visit included the memorial in which the guide had given a well-informed presentation about the incident. The group, then, concluded the program with a picnic at a wonderful site.

**The Conference will be held  on Tuesday, April 05, 2016 in Dedeman Hotel-Erbil.** In order to enable the knowledge and information accessible to everyone, Tishk International University College of Dentistry holds its annual conference on Oral Sciences. The International Visible Conference aims to gather researchers, practitioners, dentists, educators, and scholars with interests in any fields of dentistry at all levels from around the world. The ICOS 2016 conference is designed to attract the research communities to promote connections between theory and practice and explore different perspectives on the application of research findings into different dentistry field.  

On 3rd March, 2016, a panel entitled “Honor Killing” has been held at ISHIK University by Consulate General of the United States of America – Erbil. For that purpose, Consular Assistant Michele A. Perrin and Cultural Affairs Specialist Dler Ali Hamad from Consulate visited our university. On the 3rd of March 2016 under the Faculty of Administrative Science and Economics, Business Club and International Relations and Diplomacy department held a seminar under the title of “honor killing” with emphases on the famous case of “Banaz love story”. Tishk International University participated in the Education Fair that was held in Sulaimani, Kirkuk and  Erbil cities. As it is known, this is an annual fair dedicated to the introduction of the national and international universities and the education opportunities. In the organization that was held in the month of February, there were lots of representatives from different countries. The interest in the event was quite high.
