Highlights

In co-operation with the Minister of Martyrs and Anfal Affairs and the volunteer students and staff, Tishk International University Student Deanery held the third commemoration ceremony with the name of "Thanks for Martyrs" which was dedicated to the late people who had been killed in chemical bombing of Halabja, Anfal, Raparin, and recent Martyrs fighting against the terrorist group of ISIS. The ceremony was held in Saad Abdullah Conference Hall in which eight Martyr families from eight different region of the Kurdistan region. Tishk International University Preparatory Class presented their first charcoal work. Students at the charcoal club exhibited their hand crafts. Every month, Tishk International University Dean of Students presents an exhibition of students’ work of art clubs. This makes students socialize and encourage them to participate in social activities. Dean of Students discovers those students who have a potential in a specific area and promotes them to present their work. Tishk International University annually arranges Commemoration Ceremony for the Martyrs. This ceremony shows our thanks and appreciation to them. This year, the third one will be organized. The event will be held at Saad Abdullah Conference Hall at 01:00 pm on Wednesday, March 02, 2016. We invite all of our students and their families to the ceremony in order to show their thanks to them; to know of people who have sacrificed their lives to build a new life for us in which we can live peacefully. The 2nd  International Engineering Conference on Developments in Civil and Computer Engineering Applications (IEC 2016) is held for the period from 21 to 22 February 2016. This year the conference is organized jointly by Tishk International University and Erbil Polytechnic University. Tishk International University is always keen to establish connection with other educational institutions whether nationally or internationally. Law Award Ceremony was held on Tishk International University campus, where the successful students from the Faculty of Law have shared their enthusiasm and excitement for the new adventures of university life. faculty Deans, Department Heads and the lecturers were ready in the ceremony. President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş gave the introduction speech and welcomed the students and he wished the students best of luck and great success in their college life.
