Tishk International Delegates, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Oztas, Dr. Huseyin Cakillikoyak and Dr. Ali Kattan, visited Taylor's University which is located in Malaysia. The delegates met Dr. Pradeep, Deputy Vice-‐Chancellor and TU staff. Dr. Pradeep briefed the delegates on the history of Taylor’s Education Group and TU as a private institution and its position (Tier 5) among other universities in Malaysia. In 18 January 2015 the Law Faculty had the first Alumni Dinner yet when over 60 graduates and guests came together for evening of fine dinning and entertainment at Hotel Best in Erbil. The night is started with a moment of slience for the memory of peshmerge. Just before the dinner students refreshed their minds with a cheerful presentation and the speech of alumni representative Botan Hadi. USM and ISHIK signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The parties have been in collaboration since 2011 in the field of neural network through the School of Computer Sciences of USM and Computer Engineering and IT Departments of ISHIK. USM Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dato' Dr. Omar Osman signed the understanding on behalf of President of the university and as for Iraqi side, President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş was accompanied by IRO Coordinator and Law Dean Dr. Hüseyin Çakıllıkoyak and Asst. RWTH Aachen University and Tishk International University signed a MoU. In accordance with the agreement, there will be cooperation on the facilities of Dentistry and mutual exchanges. In the very close future, it will be established 'Laser Supported Dental Center.' As it is known, Aachen is one of the famous European universities located in Deutschland. It is a rooted university which is named in German as Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen which stands for Rheinish-Westphalian Technical High School in English.
Mr. Basar Batur, Head of ELT Department, and Mr. Muhammed Canbaloğlu, Principal of Basra Tishk International College, visited Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics of Basra University. Dr. Yousif Ali Al Asadi, Dean of Faculty, welcomed them. After greetings, Dr. Al-Asadi gave information about Basra University and a tour in the university campus. In an intimate atmosphere, they talked about possible future agreements as well as sharing information. The friendship between the universities will continue.
