A delegation from Tishk International University visiting Independent Commission of Human Rights in Kurdistan

Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş President of Tishk International University, and Dr. Hüseyin Çakıllıkoyak, Dean of Faculty of Law, visited Dr. Diya Boutros Sliwa the president of Independent Commission of Human Rights in Kurdistan Region on 8 September 2015.

After compliments and greeting Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş introduced Tishk International University and talked about the concern that Tishk International University has regarding human right and charity. He stated that “Tishk International University has made many great contributions to the matters of humanity among them; collecting money for Peshmarga Troops whom are defending this country. Also providing free of charge dental medications for the Syrian refugee families.

Dr. Diya Boutros Sliwa stated that “Tishk International University has made many great contributions to the matters of humanity we highly appreciate their charity efforts and strongly recommend other organizations to take their charitable work as an example. We are aiming to get to more people through your University because the education is the main pillar in the community and Tishk International as University are building community by raising the youth of Iraq’’

On the other hand Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş with Dr. Diya Boutros Sliwa Considered the possible ways for collaborations like; joint seminars, conferences and certificate programs related to human rights, and also the possibility of signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) together.
