A memorandum of scientific understanding was signed by the Tishk International University and the University of Baghdad, President, represented by Prof. Munir Hamid Al-Saadi, President of the University of Baghdad, and Prof. Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, President of TIU. Metabolic Syndrome as a FOEObesity _ Diabetes _ HypertensionThe Medical Analysis Department of the Faculty of Science at Tishk International University has organized a community project titled "Metabolic Syndrome as a Foe". The purpose of this project is to discuss chronic conditions including obesity, diabetes, and hypertension, and raise awareness of these health conditions. The Deanery of Students organized a tremendous hiking trip to Safin Mountain for all faculties and departments of Tishk International University in which approximately 700 students participated in. The trip took place on Saturday, November 06th, 2021, starting the journey at 8:30 AM. Mountain Climbing has many benefits for climbers; it is s compound exercise that allows climbers to work multiple muscle groups and joints and the same time, improving mobility and promoting strength and fitness. Workshop on Global Entrepreneurship Week 2021 Tishk International University Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Economics, Business and Management Department organized a workshop on “Global Entrepreneurship Week” in collaboration with Meraki Ventures Company-Erbil on November 10, 2021, at the Faculty of Education, Hall 302. The objectives of the program were to honor global entrepreneurship week and to provide a platform for entrepreneurs to share and exchange ideas. Tishk International University organized a great campus visit for the 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students of Zanyary Private School. The purpose of this visit was to allow high school students to visit TIU, and become acquainted with campus life, and the departments available at the university. This was also a great opportunity to introduce the students to the university staff and participate in activities held in TIU. About 200 students attended the visit and were divided into 4 groups.
