The American University of Kurdistan (AU) visited Tishk International University on the 6th of December 2016. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş President of Tishk International University and Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir Vice President welcomed Dr. Michael William Mulnix President of the American University of Kurdistan and Dr. Honar K. Issa Member of Board of Trustees of AU. The main agenda of the meeting was to set friendly collaboration among both sides in the future and organize prospective mutual conference in order to enhance the links between Tishk International University and The American University of Kurdistan.    

DENTISTRY DEPARTMENT COMMENCED the first step of the Volunteer Teeth Care project on November 23, 2016. Pedodontic department’s team composing of a lecturer, a clinical assistant and 20 dental students visited Erbil Ola Primary School which is located in Saidawa in Erbil. The visit was performed with partnership of Dean of Students and Kurdistan Save Children Organization that provided the project with materials and governmental permission for visiting schools. The number of the examined school’s children were 260, all included by the dental examination.
