'We will not Forget You' was a relief campaign organized by English Language Teaching Department pre-service teachers (student-teacher) with Deanery of Students. The campaign organizers underlined that the program is purposed to convey a relieving message to the brother and sisters of Khazir Refugee Camp residents who are constantly held in hearts and minds, and who are not forgotten. Dean of Students of Tishk International University and volunteer students with partnership of Dilnewa Organization went to Khazir Camp for donating the collected materials. These materials and household items were 1200 plastic bags of clothes, blankets, toys and 300 plastic bags of cleaning materials having been collected by the students and staff of Tishk International University. Dean of Students arranged a welcome ceremony on the campus for freshmen students. The event was held at 12:00 o’clock on January 18, 2017. The event started with the welcome speech by the President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş President of Tishk International University and Assistant Prof. Dr. Dara O. Meran President of University of Hawler Medical signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). MoU was signed at Ishık University in Erbil, KRG/Iraq. In accordance with MoU, various co-operations will be performed with University of Hawler Medical. Signed memorandum compromises educational and scientific cooperation in order to establish and further promote the bilateral cultural and educational collaboration.
