Tishk International University offers a variety of training courses to help the educators improve their vocational skills. Within this context, about 82 teachers registered for a 30-day program in which they will update their current knowledge and improve their critical and analytical thinking abilities concerning English, Mathematics and Science courses, in terms of inspection. The participants of the program are those who work as the School Inspectors under the supervision of the Ministry of Education. The American Mathematics Competitions (AMC) is the most prestigious and popular Math Contest in USA and was held in IRAQ in November, 2016. The American Mathematics Competitions are a series of examinations and curriculum materials that build problem-solving skills and mathematical knowledge in middle and high school students. It was organized in 7 cities of IRAQ and 635 students participated to AMC 8. The Tishk International University was the host for AMC 8 and 196 students participated in Erbil. Darashukran and Qushtapa refugee camps will host our ELT students for Educational help to the refugees. The project had been lunched last year by Dr. Numan Kanar in the purpose of providing and helping people who are in educational need in the refugee camps. This year is the second attempt by ELT student, not only one camp, but also two refugee camps were included for this years.
