Tishk International University gave alumni from each of the departments among whom was Mamand Othman Muhammed from Law Faculty. He received his plaque from President Öztaş. Mamand did his best during his education both intellectually and physically. Somehow he could challenge his physical challenges. On June 17, 2015, Tishk International was visited by well-known Kurdish Celebrity. Popular by his famous song "Penaber" (standing for 'immigrant'), Haval Ibrahim was welcomed by President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş and PR Manager. Accompanied by General Director of Radio Dewran, Singer Haval was given a tour in the campus and given some briefing. After touring, the guests sat for a cup of coffee in President's Office. Tishk International University has been certified with the ISO 9001:2008 for Higher Education and Training Services by BCI Certification and Standardization Inc. Tishk International University had started its journey one and half year ago. The representatives from BCI Inc had introduced ISO 9001:2008 which is of the QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGEMENTS. The preparations took about 1,5 years to be completed among which a team was assigned on the duty of managing the process; another team for auditing and the last one for training. Tishk International University Sulaimania Branch Vice-PResident Dr. Dogan Ozdemir joined the Conference of IAAST 2015 as Keynote Speaker. The conference was held in Antalya/Turkey on June 10, 2015. Speakers from all over the world took place in the event. Dr. Ozdemir was ready in the activity as Keynote with his subject entitled "Dental Caries and Protective Strategies."
