TIU Inks 5 MoUs with Jordanian Universities

During the lively discussions at the Jordan-Kurdistan Higher Education Forum, Tishk International University (TIU) strengthened its dedication to excellence through the separate signing of five important Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with Al-Balqa Applied University (BAU), Middle East University (MEU), Ajloun National University (ANU), and Aqaba Medical Science University (AMSU).

Further, by renewing its memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Al-Ahliya Amman University (AAU), TIU reaffirmed its commitment to ongoing collaborations, thereby emphasising the enduring bond between the two institutions.

AMSU was inaugurated in Aqaba City, Jordan, in October 2022. AMSU is an educational research institution that is accessible to local and international communities. It is the only private medical school to consist of the Faculty of Dentistry and the Faculty of Medicine.

MEU, headquartered in Amman, Jordan, is a non-profit national education research consulting organisation that is owned by the Company Middle East University for Graduate Studies. A short distance separates it from Queen Alia International Airport.

(ANU) is a private research institution of higher education in Jordan. Two postgraduate master’s programmes and fifteen undergraduate programmes are available. Furthermore, terraces, green spaces, and a basketball court occupy over 10,000 square metres of the campus’s total area of over 15,000 square metres.

Since 1990, (AAU) has been the first private university in Jordan to pioneer private education by offering academic services. Its overarching objective is to establish itself as a preeminent institution of higher education within the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Arab World. To achieve this objective, AAU has integrated information technology into its educational processes across all fields of expertise and specialisation, with e-learning being a particular emphasis on the integration of this technology as a fundamental component in all activities.

Established in 1997, Al-Balqaʟ Applied University (BAU) is a state-affiliated institution of higher education in Jordan, supported by the government. It offers both bachelor’s and associate degree programmes in Applied Education and has a capacity of over 21,000 students, of which 10,000 are enrolled in the associate degree programme and 11,000 are enrolled in the bachelor’s programme.

By signing these memorandums of understanding, TIU reinforced the path towards academic excellence, innovation, and global cooperation, all the while establishing its crucial position in determining the future path of higher education in the area.
