International Relations Office of Tishk University organized a seminar in collaboration with the Technische Universität Bergakademie Freiberg on Wednesday 27, 2019. The seminar was about Students and Staff Exchange program, Mr. Torsten Mayar gave a presentation about Freiberg University and how the students can apply for the exchange program and start to seize the opportunity. also Mr. Mayar explained how is the student life and the environment in Germany. The vice president of Alatoo University, Dr. Halil Koch accompanied by delegation visited Tishk International University on November 26, 2019. They were warmly welcomed and hosted by the chairman of the board of trustee and acting president of TIU, Dr. Idris Hadi Salih. visited Erbil Municipality A delegation representing Tishk International University (TIU) presidency visited the Erbil municipality on December 03, 2019. The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Abdulwahid Ahmad, New Head of municipality of Erbil Government. Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, Head of the Board of Trustees of TIU congratulated Mr. Abdulwahid Ahmad for their new assignment. He also called for the unity to ensure the protection of Kurdistan as a priority as he believes that working together will make Kurdistan better. At the end of the meeting, Dr. Idris Hadi gave a plaque of appreciation to the Erbil municipality.  

On December 4th, 2019, the International Relations Office of the TIU in collaboration with the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy (IRD)of the university organised a workshop for the Consul General of the Republic of Korea to Kurdistan. The Consul General Dr Choi Kwang-Jin was first welcomedby the president of the university, Dr Idris Hadi, and Head of the International Relations Office, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş. Tishk International University (TIU) held a fabulous opportunity for the 12th-grade high school students of (Gara High School, Zanyary Private School, Fakhir Mergaswr School and Aga High School from massif) between November 21-27 and December 01-03-05, 2019, to visit TIU campus. Nearly 500 students visited TIU during these 5 days. They were all welcomed warmly by the university staff. They were led around and introduced to all departments of TIU. The Faculty of Pharmacy organized the white coat ceremony for the first-grade students on November 28, 2019 in the presence of Dr. Muath Sheet, Dean of Pharmacy faculty, Dr. Esra Bayrakdar, The Head of Department, Mr. Ali Bala, Dean of students, Mrs. Emine Bala, Dr. Zeynel Polat, Dr. Rozhan Arif, the representatives of Dean of Students office in addition to a group of Pharmacy faculty staff.
