Dean of Student of Tishk International University organized a seminar entitled “The theory of colors and the importance of color in human life”, on November 24, 2019, which was presented by Dr. Mustafa Zangana, writer and Lecturer at our university. Students and other lecturers from various departments attended the seminar and they were very interested in the topic of the seminar. Dr. Mustafa Zangana, emphasized on color theory and the meaning of each color thoroughly. The seminar ended up by Q&A session from the audience.

The Iraqi Young Leaders Exchange Program was at Tishk International University on December 01, 2019 to gave a presentation about how to apply to the IYLEP program which is a fully funded program by US Embassy that sends undergraduate and high school students to the United States of America for cultural and educational purposes. IYLEP is a program that takes students from all over Iraq to America to educate them on the American culture, to enrich their imaginations, to improve their critical thinking and the ability to develop themselves. On Monday December 02, 2019, the Business Management department of Tishk International University held a dynamic workshop on entrepreneurship; focusing on the contemporary issues facing start-ups both in Iraq and internationally, and how to overcome these barriers to launch an innovative, successful start-up. Following a short opening statement from moderator Matthew Moore, Ava Nadir was welcomed to begin her presentation. International Relations and Diplomacy Department (IRD) of TIU together with Peace and Freedom Organization (PFO) arranged a workshop on “Coexistence and Ethnic-based Discrimination in the Kurdistan Region”. The workshop which was held on Thursday, December 28,2019, in the Main Building of TIU, was attended by students of the Faculty of Administrative Science and Economics and a number of PFO and TIU staff. On November 13, 2019, Faculty of Law organized a celebration for the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). On this occasion, Faculty of Law visited the home of the nursing in Erbil and presented some gifts and medical aid to them and participated in the celebration of the Prophet’s birthday by distributing sweets and holding a small celebration for them.
