A Welcome Ceremony was held at Tishk International University with the great contributions of all the students and staff from all of the departments on November 13, 2019 in front of the main building, TIU campus. The aim of this event was to introduce and welcome all of the students including the freshmen students to TIU. “National Blood Donation” project was announced by Tishk International University (Nursing department and Dean of Students) with the cooperation of Directorate of Blood Bank – Erbil branch. On November 12, 2019 Blood Donation project was held in Tishk International University by two steps, first step was making a seminar and second step was donating blood. Student Deanery of Tishk International University organized a food fundraising event on November 12, 2019 with the great contribution of our students and staff from all the faculties of our university for enriching the Mercy Corner #Rojava. Tishk International University, (TIU) has signed a comprehensive memorandum of understanding with Charmo University on November 11, 2019. Dr. Salih Raza, president of Charmo University accompanied by the Director of Research Center, Dr. Umed have visited Tishk International University. They were warmly welcomed and hosted by the Chairman of the board of trustee and acting president of TIU, Dr. Idris Hadi Salih. As part of a series of sessions under our Guest Speaker Series, organized by International Relations and Diplomacy Department, on Sunday, November 10th, 2019, the Deputy Speaker of the Kurdistan Region Parliament (Mr Hemin Hawrami) visited Tishk International University. In the event which took place in the morning of that day, Mr Hawrami presented a lecture on practical diplomacy to the department’s students. On November 4th-5th 2019, Tishk International University in collaboration with the University of Technology/Baghdad organized the 2nd International Conference on Architecture and Interior Design under the theme of “Identity: Tradition and Innovation”.
